Please join the CBS Alumni Club of Houston for a networking breakfast during the Offshore Technology Conference ("OTC"), the largest oil and gas conference in the world, which brings alumni from across the globe active in the sector. You do not have to be in the energy industry to attend.
We are holding this $30 event jointly with Georgetown University Club of Houston and the London Business School Energy Club to maximize networking opportunity. We are also inviting SIPA and the Columbia Alumni Club of South Texas, as there was strong interest from these groups for our recent panel on the Impact of the Low Price of Oil, which attracted over 100 RSVPs.
Our guest speaker is Keith King, Managing Director at Moyes & Co. Keith spent 35 years at Exxon, culminating his career as Head of Crude Forecasting for Exxon. He publishes regularly on the blog "Seeking Alpha" about oil prices and supply/demand, and he has 1,000's of followers. His 35 years of experience in the oil and gas business included exploration and management assignments in the North Sea, Africa and the Middle East. He is a former Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy ('72 to '77), earned his Masters degree in Geology ('79). He is currently with boutique advisory firm Moyes & Co.
