TICKET - SEATING INFO

Game tickets are $82 in the reserved CAA Houston section of the Field Box 131 ($49 tickets in Field Box 134 sold out).  The deadline for tickets sales to this game is June 5, but we expect the tickets to sell out quickly - so get your seats early!  The tickets are 100% mobile, so you will need to download “MLB Ballpark App” in order to access the tickets. Upon purchasing the tickets, you will receive a receipt and instructions on how to set up the account.  Mobile tickets do not have access to be printed via PDF.

Q&A

From 2pm, a 30-min Q&A with Oz Ocampo, Astros Director of International Operation.  This will be a rare and privileged chance to ask Oz (MBA, Columbia University) on operations and recruiting processes behind the 2017 World Series Championship and their continued success over the recent years.

PARKING INFO

In the past, we instructed registrants to use the Astros Lot C, but that parking is very expensive.  There are a bunch of 'non-Astros' parking lots located all around the stadium.  You can enter the park through any gate, though the Atrium entrance on Texas Avenue is probably easiest.  It is a great idea to bring cash and you will be able to easily find parking at one of the surrounding parking lots.

OZ OCAMPO

With the support of the Astros international leadership team (Carlos Alfonso, Caridad Cabrera, Tom Shafer, Eve Rosenbaum, Roman Ocumarez), Oz oversees all aspects of international baseball operations, which includes contract negotiations, player acquisitions, scouting, analytics, player development and academy operations. In addition, he helps to build the Houston Astros brand worldwide. Some of the notable international Astros players signed under his tenure include Miguelangel Sierra, Gilberto Celestino, Wander Franco, Albert Abreu, Franklin Perez, and Jose Luis Hernandez.

Ocampo has a decade of experience across a number of baseball operations roles, both domestically and internationally. While living in the Dominican Republic for three years, Oz interned for the Major League Baseball Commissioner’s Office (2004), and worked for the St. Louis Cardinals as Dominican Academy Administrator/Coordinator of Latin American Scouting (2005-2007).

After moving stateside to work as the Cardinals Manager of Amateur Scouting/Midwest Area Scout (2007-2008) and Coordinator of International Player Development (2009), Oz moved to New York City to pursue his MBA. Upon graduation, Oz returned to the MLB Commissioner’s Office in New York City, where he most recently held the position of Specialist, International Baseball Operations (2011-2012).
