Director of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory Visits with Alumni

Alum Hosts Reception for Director of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory Columbia Professor Sean Solomon, Director of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, participated in the 46th Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in The Woodlands on March 16-20. Many thanks to Charles Costenbader (CBS, '86) for generously hosting a reception at his home nearby. About 40 alumni and neighbors gathered to hear the news about the Messenger mission to Mercury and upcoming studies of fracking risks and how CO2 buildup is affecting the ocean.
