In his lecture, Professor Hong will discuss the true cost of the green transition. His talk will address the price volatility of renewable assets, the implementation of renewable portfolio standards (RPS), and much more! Dr. Hong's work has covered diverse topics, including behavioral finance and market efficiency, agency and biased decisions, organizational diseconomies and performance, social interaction and investor behavior, and social responsibility and the stock market. Dr. Harrison Hong Ph.D., MIT and has previously worked at Princeton, Stanford GSB, and NYU Stern. In 2016, he received a honorary doctorate from two different schools, the Stockholm School of Economics and Aalto University, School of Business. In 2009, he was awarded the Fischer Black Prize, given once every two years to the best American finance economist under the age of 40.
